Vision
The Gambia Angel Investors Network (GAIN) seeks to spearhead the development of an investment community committed to supporting the development of early stage companies positioned to be future champions of industry in the Gambia.
Mission
To invest, mentor and give access to business networks to early stage companies committed to building viable going concerns over the long-term which will have net result of not only supporting the developments of our capital markets, but also advancing the private sector led development agenda of the country.
What we do
GAIN Pitch Sessions
GAIN organizes quarterly pitch sessions for shortlisted business giving them an opportunity to sell their businesses to our Angels with a view towards raising growth capital.
GAIN Masterclass
GAIN organizes training sessions in topics related to angel investment facilitated by experts to help upskill or members and broader ecosystem.
GAIN Investment Events
GAIN organizes and participates in investment events locally and internationally with a view towards promoting the concept of equity and other long-term investments in the Gambia.
GAIN Partnerships / Ecosystem Event
GAIN works actively with other players in the ecosystem on initiatives geared towards promoting entrepreneurship and investments especially those targeted at young entrepreneurs.

CHAIRPERSON
Mrs. Amie Bensouda
Mrs. Bensouda is the founder and Managing Partner AB & CO, a leading law firm in the Gambia. Prior to private practice she worked for the Government of The Gambia for Fourteen years and was Solicitor General of The Gambia for 5 years (1990-1995) and also acted as Minister of Justice and Attorney General. Mrs Bensouda is a Member of the London Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (CIArB) and a trained Mediator. She sits on the Board of several financial companies and NGOs and has served as president of the Gambia Bar Association for two consecutive terms.

Mrs. Awamary Lowe Khan
Mrs. Khan is the founder and CEO of the Woman Boss and a seasoned Executive and Social Entrepreneur.

Mr. Badou Sowe
Mr. Sowe is a leading entrepreneur in The Gambia and the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tinnin Paints, a leading paint manufacturer in The Gambia.
