GAIN Launched ‘Business Unplugged’ Networking Event Series
The Gambia Angel Investors Network (GAIN) launched its networking series dubbed ‘Business Unplugged’. The objective of the networking series is to provide a platform for business leaders, policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and partners with the rare opportunity to interact and discuss important business and economic matters. The event also aims to create an avenue for all guests to learn about each other’s business activities and about GAIN’s investment strides – all this through a semiformal setting.
The networking event series is designed to provide a platform where guest speakers share valuable insights on topics related to investment and entrepreneurship that are relevant to Gambians and people of other nationalities interested in doing business in The Gambia.
During the maiden edition of March 11th, GAIN hosted the Managing Director of Trust Bank Ltd as a guest speaker. Ms Njilan Senghore presented on the topic; Are commercial banks well placed to provide early-stage financing?
The Business Unplugged event enables attendees to connect, interact, collaborate, and share experiences with well-meaning people in the country, as well as the carefully chosen guest speakers.
Refreshments are served and entertainment is led by traditional Gambian artists.
The maiden impression of Business Unplugged was hosted at the Alliance Café which is located at Alliance Française de Banjul on Kairaba Avenue, The Gambia.
Business Unplugged is an invitation-only event that is organized once every quarter – usually, attendance is free of charge. So, feel free to contact us if you would like to grace the next event that we would be organising soon.
